We did it!!!

For this year’s Thanksgiving Holiday, Qi Dragon Healing Center, with the generous support of Gruenwald Press and our cater Amy, held a four day Qigong Intensive Retreat. Eight of us stayed four days and three nights at Gruenwald Press practicing Heavenly Essence Qigong- Nourishing Qi, Microcosmic Orbit and Dynamic Qigong. The last two days of the retreat were fasting days using the Qigong Fasting method of Bi Gu. Our teacher, Liping, brought us this special teaching from Level Three of the Heavenly Essence Qigong System. We were all very thankful to receive such a special teaching. It was like receiving a precious gem straight from Heaven.

During the intensive, we stayed in practice from 7:00 am to 9:00pm – and in all we did a total of 5 hours of Sword Finger, 5 hours of the Moving Like a Pupa & Shaking Qigong, 4 hours of Microcosmic Orbit and 12.5 hours of Nourishing Qi. The remaining hours were spent in Self TaiChi/Yoga, Sleeping Qigong Practice and Walking Qigong. To try to explain the impact of this experience, Here are what the intensive participants wrote at the end of the event:

As we wrapped up our experience, Liping said that this is the baby step towards the big vision Heavenly Essence has for mankind… Even though we have a lot of deeper work ahead of us, this first step feels fantastic and exhilarating. All of the students here are ready for more! We look forward to the chance to Bi Gu again and hope that more people will get to taste the powerful healing that we received over such a short time during Thanksgiving!
