Introduction of Heavenly Essence Qigong system
Heavenly Essence Qigong is one of the biggest Qigong schools from China. It is well known for its powerful healing effects, comprehensive theories, and easy-to-follow practices. Its teaching has a full range of elements of Medical Qigong, Martial Qigong, Buddhist Qigong, Daoist Qigong and Confucius Qigong. Qigong Level 1 is currently offered through a series of three weekend workshops Part 1 Dynamic Qigong, Part 2 Microcosmic Orbit Qigong, Part 3 Medical Qigong. You will learn the complete set of 22 practices in the three consecutive workshops. Some of these courses have been approved for CEUs for both Licensed Acupuncturists and Registered Nurses. Also Level 2 Advanced Medical Qigong Part 1, 2, 3 are offered through weekend workshops in San Francisco. Tassajara Healing with Zen and Qigong workshop, Green Gulch Qigong for Health Workshop and ACTCM Qigong curriculum is the equivalent of Level 1 Part 1 Dynamic Qigong.

Systematic Qigong Training
Qigong Level 1 Part I: Dynamic Qigong (8 practices – Prerequisite: none) aka Qigong for Health Part I
In this series we will study the fundamental theories on the 6 Golden Keys in Qigong practice, the basic techniques of collecting True Qi, expelling Sick Qi and nourishing Good Qi as well as the 8 dynamic Qigong exercises of Life Preserving Sword Finger Stance, Moving like a Pupa and Filling Qi into the Body, Shaking Qigong, Walking, Running, and Sleeping Qigong, Kidney-Lifting Qigong and Sound Opening the Arm Meridians Method. The emphasis of this series is to equip you with efficient tools in building up health and facilitating healing with ancient Chinese Qigong methods.
Tassajara and Green Gulch Qigong Workshop and ACTCM Qigong course is the equivalent of this part.
Qigong Level 1 Part II: Microcosmic Orbit Qigong (5 practices – Prerequisite: Level 1 Part I Dynamic Qigong)
In this series we explore the primary practice of Qigong Level 1, focusing on the Daoist alchemic practice Xiao Zhou Tian (Small Cosmic Orbit aka microcosmic orbit) which contains: Using the Sound to Guide Qi through the Orbit, Nourishing Qi Method, Gathering Qi Method, Secret Method of Opening the Orbit, and Supplementary Method of Opening the Orbit. Our workshop together also includes the theories on Eight Success Factors, group Dynamic Qigong practice, and some medical Qigong healing practice. Microcosmic Orbit practice is the first stage of the Daoist Neidan Gong practice to transform Jing into Qi. It was also known in the ancient time as the “Human Immortality Gong”. Heavenly Essence Qigong system evolved this traditional practice and called its method “Accelerated Microcosmic Orbit Method” which combined the ancient wisdom with a more direct and simpler approach to the traditionally esoteric practice.
Qigong Level 1 Part III: Medical Qigong (9 practices – Prerequisite: Dynamic Qigong and Microcosmic Orbit Qigong)
In this series we will learn the Six Qigong Healing Methods (Qi Lin Displaying its Power Six Methods): Magic Palm, Immortal Grabbing, Buddha’s Hands, Praying to Higher Power, No Doctor and Muddled Doctor. Also we will address the theories and training methods for Three ESP functions: Seeing the Aura, Opening the Third Eye, and Hand-Detecting Sick Qi. Some reviews on Part I & II will be included. We will also incorporate group healing and guided meditation.
Level 2 – Advanced Medical Qigong I (prerequisite: Level 1 Part I&II&III)
