Payment: Cash, check and credit cards are accepted. Payment is due in full at time of service. We are able to process your HSA and FSA cards and provide you a receipt at your request. For insurance billing, with your request Qi Dragon takes some PPO insurance after verification of your insurance coverage. Please verify with your insurance company for services covered.

Cancellation/No Show Policy: A $60 fee applies for reservations cancelled with less than 48-hour notice or for no show.

HEALING TREATMENTS:

New Patient Initial Visit
one-time initial consultation fee plus the fee of the following specific treatment(s) received.
Intial visit with acupuncture treatment usually takes 70-85 minutes. Please download the New Patient Intake Form and bring a completed copy and any lab tests to your first visit to save your paper work time at the clinic.

Acupuncture *
Great for treating specific illnesses or for general health maintenance. 45-60 minutes
*If this is your first visit, the initial consultation fee also applies.
additional fee for Cupping or Gua Sha.

Scalp Acupuncture*
Great for treating neurological disorders such as nerve pain, spinal cord injury, MS, etc. 45-60 minutes
*If this is your first visit, the initial consultation fee also applies.

Herbal Consultation and Prescription/Office Visit (without acupuncture)*
Office visit for herbal consultation and prescription or refill only. No acupuncture is given. 15- 25 minutes. If you are having an acupuncture session, herbal prescription service is included with the acu treatment.
*If this is your first visit, the initial consultation fee also applies.  Consultation fee doesn’t include any herbs.

 Acupuncture with abdominal Qi healing (Combo Treatment)*
This is our signature treatment by Dr. Liping combining Acupuncture with abdominal Qi healing and Te Yi Medical Qigong focusing on the abdominal detox and emotional release as well as the whole body cleansing and opening through guided breathing, visualization, sound healing and Qi healing. Great for abdominal emotional and energetic release as well as spirit related disharmony. Abdomen is considered the second human brain, abdominal work is great for overall health maintenance, stress relief and healing. total 60-75 minutes.

Te Yi Medical Qigong Treatment*
30min or 60min session. This is an Te Yi qi healing session with or without acupuncture needles.

Qi Dragon Weight Loss/Detox Program  

A 30-day team guided Weight Loss program with Bi Gu (Qigong Fasting), acupuncture,  herbs, Te Yi Medical Qigong healing and daily Qigong home practice.   Please schedule a separate consultation session to start this program.

Constitutional Facial Acupuncture/Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture*
Facial acupuncture addresses both the face and body to clear toxins, correct internal imbalances, and invigorate facial circulation. Chinese herbal masks, organic oils, jade-roller, and facial acupressure are incorporated into this pampering treatment. 75-90 minutes.
*If this is your first facial visit, the initial consultation fee of $70 also applies.

Private Taichi/Qigong Exercise Therapy
 Limited availability. Our private class by Dr. Liping is on Swimming Dragon Taichi, Qin Quan and basic Qigong exercise for healing, fitness or health maintenance. We can tailor some exercises for your physical conditions. For formal and systematic study of Heavenly Essence Qigong, please join Qidragon Qigong Formal Study Program or Qigong Certificate Program in a group setting.

House call for acupuncture treatment might be available within San Francisco close to clinic area or Inner Richmond area and is offered at a rate of $250/visit. If you are a new patient, the one-time initial consultation fee also applies.

A treatment combining Acupuncture with Tuina, a traditional Chinese body work that is great for releasing tension, activiating qi and blood flow locally as well as for the whole body. This combo treatment is good for your overall health maintenance, stress relief and healing. total 60-75 minutes.

Te Yi Medical Qigong Treatment by Phyllis Whitney or Charity Burgess (Donation-based service)
Suggested donation $50-100 (no one is turned away for lack of fund); Treatment lasts about 30min long.
Our Te Yi Clinic is run by our Qigong Certificate Program graduates and Te Yi Student Practitioners who are very gifted in Qi healing. Our talented healers Phyllis Whitney and Charity Burgess are now available to the general public to offer Te Yi treatments on Thursdays and Mondays respectively.  To schedule an appointment with Phyllis, please call her at  415-676-0096. liping profile1Dr. Liping Zhu, DAOM, LAc., Qigong Master and founder of Qi Dragon Healing Center, is a disciple and authorized instructor in both the Heavenly Essence Qigong System and the Daoist Taiyi Swimming Dragon Sect family lineage. She had 10 years residential training in the Soto Zen Buddhist tradition at the San Francisco Zen Center and became a Shuso in 2010. She has studied and trained extensively in Qigong, Taichi, Zen and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has been practicing acupuncture, herbal medicine and Te Yi Medical Qigong in San Francisco for more than 10 years and has taught Qigong and Taichi to the general public for more than 20 years.
Dr. Liping is a Professor of Qigong at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a faculty teaching Chinese Herbs and Nutrition and Qigong at San Francisco State University. As a native of China who is fluent in English and deeply immersed in both cultures, Master Liping makes Qigong, this ancient Chinese healing art and spiritual path, very accessible to the Western world.

EJ is a licensed acupuncturist currently practicing in the Bay Area. He holds a Master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York. He is nationally certified as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
EJ has accrued over 1000 hours of clinical experience, treating patients using acupuncture and herbs. In addition to skillful needle technique, he is particularly interested in Chinese herbal medicine, and makes it a top priority in the
treatment of patients. He is an avid disciple of the Shang Han Lun herbal tradition. EJ’s lifelong fascination with Chinese cultural and religious studies rounds out his dedication to Chinese medical traditions. His focus on the Daodejing (tao te ching), yi jing (I ching), Zhuangzi, Chan (Zen Buddhism), and Wuxing (Five Phase theory) is utilized in his treatments.
A devoted practitioner of meditation in the Soto Zen lineage, EJ brings his practice of mindfulness to his acupuncture treatments, and encourages it as an adjunct therapy along with acupuncture and herbs.

She earned a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City, a rigorous four-year training program that includes study of Western Biomedical Science and Traditional Chinese Medical clinical experience. Upon moving to San Francisco, she furthered her studies in Somatic Psychology at California Institute of Integral Studies where she supplemented her Chinese Medicine practice with advanced coursework in Clinical Counseling, Psychotherapy and Somatics. In addition to her private practice, Shannon practices acupuncture at East-West Integrative Medicine Clinic, UCSF and Pacific Fertility Clinic.
