Heavenly Essence Qigong is an advanced Qigong system that covers many different aspects of Qigong including mind training, breath training, a full range of Medical Qigong training and a unique Alchemical life preservation training refined and simplified from many traditional Buddhist and Daoist essential practices. It is one of the most comprehensive Qigong systems available.
Heavenly Essence Qigong Formal Study Program is part of the systematic and advanced study of Heavenly Essence Qigong and is open to the general public. It is designed to transmit the original teachings of the founder of the system, Grandmaster Zhang.
The Formal Study program offers four levels of study starting from the very fundamental health benefiting practices in Level 1 to Medical Qigong healing practices in Level 2, to the advanced transformative practices in Level 3 and ending with the wisdom cultivation in Level 4. This program allows students to take the Instructional Courses for each level at any time individually but consecutively over any length of time. The Formal Study courses generally offer CEUs for Acupuncturists(L.Ac.) and Registered Nurses(RN) upon approval.

The Qigong Formal Study Program does not certify a student to teach Heavenly Essence Qigong system until a student completes the required Certificate of Completion Program and Certified Instructor Training Program. We caution you from learning Heavenly Essence Qigong from anyone who has not received sufficient training and is not certified to teach.

Heavenly Essence Qigong Level 1 Formal Study Program
Level 1 study teaches you nine marvelous methods for building your own health, reformed Daoist alchemical Microcosmic Orbit practice and Six Medical Qigong healing methods. This level provides you sufficient tools for your own health care through Qigong practice.
Level 1 is taught in three parts over three Instructional Weekend Courses and a bonus course on Bi Gu (Qigong Fasting)
Level 1 Part I: Dynamic Qigong (no prerequisite; 9 practices) 15 CEUs
Level 1 Part II: Microcosmic Orbit Qigong (Prerequisite: Level 1 Part I Dynamic Qigong; 4 Practices) 15 CEUs
Level 1 Part III: Medical Qigong (Prerequisite: Level 1 Part I & II; 9 Practices) 15 CEUs

Heavenly Essence Qigong Level 2 Formal Study Program
Prerequisite: Level 1 Formal Study.
Level 2 study focuses on our Te Yi (Special Medicine: Medical Qigong) healing methods and the study of Eight Universal Laws. Your understanding of the nature of Qi and Yinian will be deepened and you will learn some most useful Medical Qigong tools for healing for self and others.
Level 2 is taught in three parts over three Instructional Weekend Courses.
Level 2 Part I: Advanced Medical Qigong I (Prerequisite: Level 1 Part I-III) 15 CEUs
Level 2 Part II: Advanced Medical Qigong II (Prerequisite: Level 2 Part I ) 15 CEUs
Level 2 Part III: Advanced Medical Qigong III(Prerequisite: Level 2 Part II) 15 CEUs

Heavenly Essence Qigong Level 3 Formal Study Program
Prerequisite: Level 1 & 2 Formal Study. No CEU credits.
More advanced Qigong for transformation and healing are offered to you in Level 3. Traditionally all teachings of Level 3 and beyond are only taught to the students who are devoted to this path of cultivation.
Level 3 Formal Study is taught over 10 days in a retreat-type environment combining instructional training, silent retreat and 3-day Qigong Fasting. This training has deep healing effects and promotes spiritual cultivation.

Heavenly Essence Qigong Level 4 Formal Study Program
Prerequisite: Levels 1 – 3 Formal Study. No CEU credits.
Level 4 Formal Study is taught over a 10-day instructional retreat including Qigong Fasting for 3-5 days. If condition allows, this training involves 3-5 day dark room training with fasting. This training guides you to the path of Dao.
Level 4 Qigong Detailed Contents.
There is no Certificate of Completion Program training after Level 3. There will be Advanced Qigong Retreats that you can go to for further intensive practice.
Our Formal Study Program concludes with Level 4 Advanced Qigong study.
