Heavenly Essence Qigong Moral Guidelines

Traditionally there are 5 kinds of people that the esoteric Dao teachings are not taught to:

Pure in the Mud

一，不传不忠不孝不仁不义之徒；
二，不传不尊师，不重道，不积德之徒；
三，不传心朮不正和偏激之徒；
四，不传不能精进不怠者；
五，不传妄语张狂，轻佻之辈。
1. This is not taught to the kind of person who is not loyal, not filial, not benevolent and not moral;
2. This is not taught to the kind of person who does not respect teachers, does not care about the Dao, and does not do good;
3. This is not taught to the kind of person who is not pure-hearted and who is opinionated and of extreme;
4. This is not taught to the kind of person who is not diligent and who easily gives up;
5. This is not taught to the kind of person who is arrogant, who slanders and who is frivolous.

修三士标准
Three Levels of Moral Cultivation

修下士者，利己利他；
The lower level cultivation: Benefit oneself as well as others;

修中士者，利他利己；
The middle level cultivation: Benefit others as well as oneself;

修上士者，舍己利他。
The upper level cultivation: Sacrifice oneself to benefit others.
