Weekly/Regular Class Schedule
Monday Night Qigong (Beginners are welcome!)
Time: 6:30-8:00pm Mondays ( there will be class on President’s Day)
Location: Gruenwald Press, 1663 Mission Street, entrance is the yellow door on Plum Street (facing the entrance of the Discount Builders), Door Code 352
Class Fee: Sliding scale $10-$15 (Please leave your class fee in the wooden box on the table since nobody is collecting your money.)
Led by Liping Zhu or substitute senior student
This class consists an hour practice of the Three Main Dynamic Qigong exercises and half an hour Group Healing Meditation. Group energy (Qi) is very powerful for healing and enhancing your energy level. No previous experience is necessary. Also please make sure you read the Special Notes on Monday Night Qigong prior to your participation.
For systematic Qigong study and better understanding of Qigong, please consider joining our Qigong Study Programs that are listed under “QIGONG” menu option above.
Tuesday Night Swimming Dragon Taichi Class: (for beginners)
6:30-7:45pm
John Gruenwald is currently leading the weekly Swimming Dragon Tai Chi classes Tuesday evenings. John is a senior student of Liping Zhu and is authorized by Liping to teach.
Tuesday Swimming Dragon Chuan weekly class meets at Gruenwald Press, 1663 Mission Street, Back Mezzanine, entrance on Plum Street. Door code 352.
Class Fee: $50 monthly fee or $15 drop-in.

Announcement: Please notice that this summer we are having a Swimming Dragon practice season from June – August. Class is not open to first time students but reserved for experienced students as a practice class. Details are below:
From June 12th-August 28 the Tuesday evening Taichi class will have the following format:
Warm-ups, some basics/True Qi circulation, all 3 forms of Swimming Dragon (forward and reverse), and a focus on 2 moves (determined by the group each evening).
This is your opportunity if you are feeling rusty and would like the encouragement of your peers. Open to anyone who has already studied any form of portion of the form – but no new students.
Starting from September 4, we will go back to our step by step Taichi class and start a new round for Swimming Dragon Form I that is open to new Taichi students and experienced students!
Sunday Qigong/Taichi in Golden Gate Park
Sundays 9:00am – 11am
@ 6th Ave and Fulton in Golden Gate Park, the Roller Skater’s Ground
Class Fee: $15 Led by Liping and/or senior student
Warm-ups and some Qigong exercises are included
This is an on-going group practice class. Currently it is on a scheduled date only basis. You can join the group anytime. All Levels are welcome!
Class dates are online and in newsletter notice. There is usually a group lunch at a Chinese restaurant after class that you can choose to join. Make sure you check for changes and updates for this class every month or even every week. Last minute change of the dates is possible! Please join our newsletter to receive updated class notice.
